Optical Devices #2 was released into the world on saturday at ATTA Girl @ the Island Bar. Cos I'm a moron i forgot to scan it, also I don;t have the original at the moment. I'll track one down and will send one along to anyone who's interested. It's a single sheet of A4 folded, printed both sides, it's mostly about nothing at all, rambling bile fuelled nonsense.

Lacking Constants

well, this blog was originally started as a way to keep people who cared in the loop about things i was getting up to when i was somewhere else.

then i sort of had ideas, but i never kept it up.

from now on i think i will use this to offer people the chance to order zines from me when i get them finished.

right now i have copies of City Sacker #6 and nothing else, though i might get some more of #3 and possibly #5 copied if anyone wants them? they're free.

also, i'm about 1/3 - 1/2 way through a *proper* zine, so get in touch if you think you'd be interested in that. i doubt i can afford to do this for free but we'll see, yea?

there was a one of zine the other day for a gig. maybe you can have one of those if you want.

one happy island

this band are super-mega-badass.

i'mvery excited about them playing at the autumn store in the summer.

i want to share with you could people a vvideo that someone posted on the one happy island thread on anorak. apparently there isa tv show on a chicago public access channel which features live bands or recoridngsand has a bunch of poeple dancing. it's a bit weird, but it lookslike fun. here is yr youtube linky.

80's Love Songs

My Favourie MP3 of the day is called 80's Love Songs and is by those Bobby McGees and that Winston Echo doing it together like.

Tonight I MAY go to a free pop show (KateGoes/ Betty and the Id/ Bom and his magic drum stick/ Falling and Laughing), but I MAY be ebing to much of a miserable arsehole to do anything other than drown myself in daal.

Veggie Pride

Birmingham, home to theUK's first ever vegetarian hotel, first "health food store"and currently home to the Vegan Society, is soon to host the UK's first ever Veggie Pride event.

If people who would like to attend could register their interested on Pledge Bank and also join the Facebook evgen thingy, that'd be quite nice, dontcha think.

Also, I believe there *may* be a crossover between pop and vaggie types, so I'm considering sortingout a POP event for the evening.
